I have finished setting up a new image gallery, which makes it easy to browse my various designs. It is split into categories for general art and photography subjects, nature, patterns and shapes, seasonal and text designs.
Each gallery page shows thumbnails of the images in that section, and these can be clicked on for a larger view. The large view also has a link to the post for that image, which gives more details about it and shows which products are available to buy featuring that image.
Many of the gallery sections are a bit empty at the moment, but I’ll be adding lots more new designs this year. The gallery can be accessed from the drop down menu in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
I’ve made a couple of other improvements to the site too. First, I simplified the image category structure, by combining some of my categories. Since I work with lots of different subjects, organisation can be a challenge, but it’s more streamlined now. And I’ve replaced the images on each post with larger, better-looking versions.
I still have a lot of work to do before this site looks as I want it to (including a revamp of this boring black and white colour scheme), but it’s getting there 🙂
